Tamar Braxton shared a heartfelt message about her boyfriend David Adefeso, whom the public saw for the first time in April on the season 6 premiere of “Braxton Family Values.” But once she mentioned his age in the post, people were seemingly shocked and had plenty to say about it.
“It’s not too many times that you meet someone and your world shakes,” wrote Braxton on Saturday. “That happened to me when we locked eyes at Genes birthday party almost two years ago. You were a young man then, 😂 and also then, I knew we would grow old together. You are my BEST friend and I thank you for so many things. Mostly for loving my son just like he’s your own.”
“I can’t wait to turn up at your very first birthday party🥰 happy 50th bday @david.adefeso,” she added. “You may be an old man but you are still fine, Rich, and ALL MINE🤣🤣😂😂.”

Adefeso is the CEO of a Los Angeles-based financial services firm called The Pacific Group and was born in Lagos, Nigeria. And based on the social media talk over the past several months, most of Braxton’s fans seem to believe he’s a wonderful catch for her.
In fact, some were asking Adefeso when he’d propose to the former “The Real” host, even though they haven’t been together for very long. But that chatter was far different from the comments left underneath Braxton’s recent post about her man and his age.
“Wait 50?????😩,” someone asked.
“50 I though 40 at the most!! 🙌🏽👏🏽💕,” wrote another.
“50??? Where???” a third person stated.
Meanwhile, others wrote similar comments about Adefeso being 50 and thought it was a positive thing. Some also said with Braxton being 42 years old the difference isn’t a big deal.
