It looks like some fans are in denial about Joe Budden and Cyn Santana‘s recent breakup.
On Wednesday evening, Budden took to Instagram and posted several adorable photos of himself and his 1-year-old son with Santana, Lexington Budden, spending time together, apparently this week. In one image, the 39-year-old father holds baby Lexington in his arms, and in another, the retired rapper props up the toddler on his lap.
Clearly cherishing the moments with his baby boy, Budden captioned his post “The fun part” and added in a separate post, “Lex never quite gets the ‘daddy’s tired’ part of the game lol 😩…. We do what we must tho 🤷🏽♂️.”
Gushing over the toddler’s adorableness, fans of the podcaster suggested he and his ex-fiancée Santana procreate another child.
“Awww he’s grown up so fast ‼️💙✨ you and @cynsantana need to have just one more child 🙏🏽,” one fan wrote.
Another added, “Yesss they make cute kids together 😩 they need to get back together n have 1 more Lex is adorable 😍.”
Someone else commented, “Your boy is just so adorable 😍 he looks like Cyn here.”
Budden and Santana welcomed their son together in December 2017, a year before getting engaged. They, however, called off their engagement sometime this year after infidelity rumors surrounded them. They now seem to be co-parenting.
In early September, the “Pump It Up” artist suggested that Santana was keeping baby Lexington from him. He tweeted on August 13, “I miss my son so much…. gotta go thru it tho… again.”
The 25-year-old model faced backlash for her ex’s remarks and quickly addressed it in a statement on August 14, writing, “Lol y’all think I give a damn about what complete strangers with ZERO information have to say about me as it pertains to my son? Y’all don’t know a SINGLE thing about anything. …. pay close attention to people’s patterns and tactics.”
It’s unclear why Budden and Santana split, but it’s clear some fans are hopeful they’ll get back together.
