Nene Leakes is showing that she is making progress in becoming the woman she is today.
The longtime star of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” posted an image on Instagram Tuesday of a floral arrangement that spelled out “Peace & Love.”

“PHEW! I am so proud of who i am and who i have become. Growth is a beautiful thing,” read Leakes’ accompanying caption.
The post was one that left fans remarking about how proud they were that Leakes has matured. They also offered up encouragement to the star.

Leakes had a rough go of things in season 11 of “RHOA.” It saw many of her friendships become severed, and perhaps none as much as the kinship she shared with Cynthia Bailey.
The O.G. star of the series took issue with Bailey after the model neglected to tell her that she was inviting Kenya Moore to her launch party for her Seagram’s Escapes beverage.
Leakes ultimately went on Instagram Live and claimed Bailey was not who she seems.
“She has done a lot of stuff that you all just don’t get to see on the show that’s just, like, underhanded, and then I always come out looking like the bad guy. But she’s done a lot of f—ed up stuff,” Leakes said this spring.
However, it seems that growth has really occurred as Bailey recently disclosed on E!’s “Daily Pop” that the cast members’ relationship has now improved.
“We are in a better place than we were at the reunion, which was an awful place. We’re better than that. But we’re not where we used to be, but you guys will see how it all plays out,” she told the show last month. “It was really hard for me this season because — you know how it is with friends — regardless of where we’re at, I still have love for her, still have love for her family. It’s not like I just want to fight with Nene.”
