Pam Long, formerly of the R&B group Total, has responded to her ex-husband Jamie Long’s recent interview on “The Breakfast Club.”
Jamie joined his wife Cyntoia Brown for the interview, who at 16 years old was arrested in Tennessee on charges of robbing and killing Johnny Michael Allen in a 2004 sex-for-hire transaction gone wrong. Brown was then sentenced to life in prison after going to trial in 2006.
She was released from custody in August of this year after celebrities like Rihanna shed light on her case through social media.
Jamie, who used to be in the group Pretty Ricky, married Brown while she was in prison after they developed a relationship through writing letters.
His marriage to Pam Long lasted from 2013 to 2018, and he slammed the singer for talking about his marriage to Brown. Because earlier this year, the former Bad Boy artist said her ex is merely using his new wife.
“This man is diabolical and he is such a manipulator,” said Pam. “The way this man pursued this woman is the way he did me … He came and found me using the same card, he was a Christian artist. May the Lord God protect her and her money.”
“I think it was very selfish,” said Jamie about his ex-wife’s comments during the “Breakfast Club” interview. “I don’t know if she’s trying to reinvent her career, I don’t know what she’s trying to do. We’re serious about what we’re doing, we’re serious about the message and I’ve been divorced from Pam for four, five years now.”
“You discredit what my wife is trying to do, trying to attach your name to something like this,” he added.
The Total member responded on her “Pam’s World” podcast earlier this week and accused her ex of getting physical with her during their marriage and being sexually abusive.
“Jamie, you know that you are nasty,” she stated. “You know that you are nasty, not just to me, but you’ve been nasty to your mother, you’ve been nasty to your sister, to your brother, to your family. I’ve seen it. They see it, but they don’t speak up.
“The same Jamie Long that said that he loved me, but the same Jamie Long that flew me across the bed at Kima’s house,” added Pam. “How about the man that forces himself on women? Do you remember that night? Hmph.”
Pam then went on to say that she stayed with her ex for as long as she did because she considered him to be “The greatest catch,” mainly because of his physical appearance.
The 41-year-old also said she was a broken human being when she met Jamie and lacked self-confidence.
