Back when he appeared on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Peter Thomas earned the moniker Uncle Ben, but, according to Bravo viewers, he also resembles another “Housewives” franchise star’s husband.
The former Mr. Cynthia Bailey posted side-by-side photos to his Instagram page Monday of himself and Ray Huger, the husband of “The Real Housewives of Potomac” star Karen Huger.
“These housewife are bugging, this man look nothing like me, SMH,the only thing we have in common is that we are black men. 😂😂😂😂,” Thomas captioned the image of himself and the so-called Black Bill Gates.
Many of the Charlotte businessman’s followers eagerly agreed with his sentiment concerning himself and the Paradigm Solutions International CEO’s non-resemblance.

Another common trait the men likely have is their focus on business. Thomas has been zeroing in on the newest location of his Bar One restaurant in Florida, Bar One Miami Beach ,while the Charlotte location of Bar One remains shuttered. News emerged in September that Sports One Bar & Lounge will be closed for three to six months while Thomas and the establishment’s legal representatives sort through the $237,000 tax lien put against it.
“Hard work never stop over here, got to get these people their money,” Thomas said in an Instagram post of the report before ultimately deleting it. “The shuffle hustle is real.”
A month before the news of the tax woes broke, however, the sports bar had been closed for renovations. A notice on the bar’s Instagram page made on Oct. 8 stated, “Who said we’re gone??? We are about to be opening soon… Stay tuned!”
Meanwhile, Thomas hasn’t been letting the issue get him down. He’s been sharing images to the video and photo-sharing social media site focused on Bar One Miami. In one, Thomas showed off his choice order of kale salad with a side of jerk chicken he describes as “ridiculously delicious.” He’s also kept up the positive spirit by singing along to Jamaican dancehall singer Barrington Levy’s “Too Experienced” as he stopped by Bar One Miami.
