Gabrielle Union is sharing a new side of herself to her loyal Instagram followers.
The actress on Monday decided to shut down some apparent trolls who claim she does not embrace her naturally curly hair texture. Uploading a playful Boomerang video to Instagram of her ruffling her curls around, Union firmly put those haters to shame.
“Them: Why dont you ever wear your natural hair?!?!
Me: Heyyyyyyyyyyyyy 🤷🏾♀️,” she wrote in the caption of the brief Oct. 14 video.
Union also uploaded a set of images from her TV trailer, appearing to be between takes on her Fox series “L.A.’s Finest.”

The images left fans totally raving over the TV and movie star’s curly pixie cut.

While Union left fans fawning over her textured, ‘do, it’s not the first time that the star has shown off how her hair looks sans extensions and wigs.
This summer, Union showed off a new, bolder hair cut that saw her lose major length but earn a much-edgier look. The style was much like the one she showed off on Instagram Monday, except her tresses were straightened.
Yet even that wasn’t the first time Union had done the big chop. That moment came last summer when she announced on Instagram that her new pixie cut was the first time she ever made a drastic change to her own hair rather than added tresses.
“CRAZY for my new haircut from the hair guru @larryjarahsims 1st time I’ve EVER significantly cut my OWN hair in my life and I LOVE IT!!! Not a wig or a weave… wanted something new and different so I did the damn thing and you cant tell me nada 💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾,” she excitedly shared in the caption of a video of her rocking out to Prince’s “Let’s Go Crazy.”
