LisaRaye has been talking about some of the factors that led to her divorce from the former Premier of Turks and Caicos Michael Misick, and she’s been naming names.
The first person she called out was Nicole Murphy, right after Murphy was seen kissing Lela Rochon‘s husband Antoine Fuqua in Italy this past July.
LisaRaye said Murphy played a part in the demise of her marriage to Misick during an interview with TMZ. And she doubled down on that claim earlier this week after the former “Hollywood Exes” star denied it on “The Wendy Williams Show.”
Now LisaRaye is saying another person helped ruin her marriage, and that’s Duane Martin, whom she used to work with on the UPN sitcom “All of Us.”
It was something she revealed during an upcoming episode of TV One’s “Uncensored,” where she accused Martin of introducing her ex to other women. She also said that Misick became closer to Martin than he was to her, which she’s still confused about.
“As my reign as first lady [of Turks and Caicos] became busier and busier and I found my position, then he was doing a lot more traveling by himself,” she explained. “And I was staying home, speaking at a school or having an appearance or something.”
“And really, to be quite honest, then he became friends with Duane Martin, which used to be one of my friends on “All of Us,” added LisaRaye. “When I introduced them, that was one of the worst things I ever did.”
“He became disrespectful with introducing my husband to different women and women that we actually knew as friends and associates,” she stated.
LisaRaye’s mentor Lynn Jeter also weighed in and backed up the actress’s claim.
“In Turks and Caicos, she opened up her home to him and he brought other women to her husband,” Jeter recalled. “Not a very spiritual or positive human being.”
LisaRaye and Misick were married from 2006 to 2008, and in a 2013 interview with Sister 2 Sister, LisaRaye admitted to never being in love with him during the marriage. But it was something she was moving closer towards before the split.
She also said the opportunity to be the first lady of Turks and Caicos played a role in her decision to marry Misick, who was arrested in 2012 for alleged money laundering and conspiracy to bribe.
During her “Uncensored” interview, the “Players Club” actress said she has no communication with Martin and definitely wants to keep it that way.
“Yes, you know my dirt as my brother, my friend. But you my friend. I introduced you to him,” she stated. “What are you doing? I’m still kind of confused about that one. So needless to say, me and Duane don’t f*ck with each other at all. F–k him. F–k him.”
