‘This is a Whole Different Twist’: 50 Cent Throws ‘Power’ Fans For A Loop After Posting Pic with His ‘Son’

50 Cent is at it again with his shenanigans.

The “In Da Club” rapper and executive producer of hit TV series “Power” trolled fans over the weekend with a photo of him posed alongside actor Michael Rainey Jr., who plays the son of a drug kingpin on the show.

According to Fif, however, Rainey is his seed.

“Man f–k all that Tv shit this my son man,’ the rapper captioned the photo, adding: “His moms was moving mad Thotty back in the day. 🤨 word  #powerneverends.”

Fans of the series, which follows main character Ghost (played by Omari Hardwick) as he struggles to leave the drug game behind, quickly peeped the joke and wasted no time offering their two cents.

“I believe it!” one fan commented.

“U need to give that lil nigga up for adoption 🤨,” wrote another.

One fan joked, “You know what happened the last time you called someone your kid 👀 he about to start stitchin 😂.”

“You saying you hit it before ghost? 🤔 this is a whole different twist,” another chimed in, shocked.

The drama series is in its sixth and final season, and continues to take fans on a roller coaster ride with each new, heart-stopping episode. Rainey, who plays Ghost’s son Tariq, has jumped head first into the drug game and often finds himself up the creek without a paddle due to his poor decisions.

As his father struggles to keep him on the straight and narrow, a stubborn Tariq finds himself addicted to the ins and outs of the trade taught to him by rival drug dealer Kanan, played by 50 Cent. The sharp shooting, quick talking character was killed off in season five, but not before he and Tariq formed a familial bond.

“The death of Kanan at this point, it ramps up everything,” 50, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, told Deadline last year. “The pace of the next two shows is a lot more [because] everyone responds to the betrayal of Kanan and his death leaves a big gap with Tommy (played by Joseph Sikora) and Ghost where they do not trust each other. It also changes Tariq and Tasha (Naturi Naughton) in different perspectives as everything starts to spin out of control.”

The rapper’s hilarious post even drew a response from lead actress Naughton, who responded: Lies lies lies!!! Lol. #TariqAintYours #TruthHurts
