‘No Boo’: Rasheeda Frost Fans Clown Her After She Hails Herself a ‘Gangster’ Rapper

Rasheeda Frost let it be known there are two sides to every person.

The “Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta” star channeled her inner “Georgia Peach” persona in a recent post that had folks cracking up. She took to Instagram on Sunday and posted a fashion clip of herself modeling at her Pressed clothing boutique sporting a white T-shirt, denim blazer, distressed boyfriend jeans, a Balenciaga fanny pack and sneakers.

In the clip, Frost swayed side to side while pointing her finger upward. She added in her caption, “Deep inside I’m really a gangster rapper 🤣” and received over 346,000 views. Her followers, however, seemingly disagreed with her sentiments and jokingly roasted her.

“I’m rasheeda i rap like shawty lo! Lmao 😂🤣 Its a NO for me 😂”

“Uh no 😂😂 Nawwwwww you still ‘legs’ to the moon’ doll… “

“No boo you just gangsta girl bye 😭😭”

“Tried rapper. Get some rest bubble gum is still my joint 😂😂”

The 37-year-old television personality hung up her rap career in 2016 and decided to make her way into the fashion industry.

“I was always an outlier in my music career,” Frost told Forbes in April 2018 when speaking about her transition from rap into entrepreneurship. “I was an independent artist on my own label and I was a woman trying to gain respect in a male-dominated industry. It was tough and it took a toll on me. I doubted myself and felt like I had to work so much harder than anyone.”

However, the same “ambition and self-respect” that kept Frost going in her then-music career is what helped her as a budding entrepreneur.

“Now that I am a business owner, I have doubted if I could keep going and be successful with the many things I am working on,” she added. “But you only get one shot at life. I need to go after the things I want.”

Rasheeda has several companies including Poise Cosmetics and her two Pressed boutiques located in Atlanta and Houston. She and her husband Kirk Frost recently opened their new lounge Frost Bistro & Bar on Monday, Sept. 23, which is located on Peters Street in the heart of Atlanta.
