Marjorie Harvey celebrated her 55th birthday this week and her loving husband Steve Harvey shared a special shoutout to his wife of more than two decades. But things turned sour when one of the comic’s followers accused the birthday girl of being a gold digger.
“I am so grateful to God for giving me her …… Happy Birthday to my QUEEN …. I love you girl @marjorie_harvey,” the former “Steve” host posted on his Instagram page Oct. 10.
“@iamsteveharveytv Thank you my love 😘😘😘😘,” Marjorie replied.
Initially, celebratory remarks poured out for The Lady Loves Couture blog owner on her big day.

But then, a troll stepped into the comments section to claim Marjorie was simply spending up the money in Harvey’s estimated $45 million to $100 million net worth.
“She spending you right to the poor house Steve😪” read the comment in question.
That prompted one fan to retort by responding to another commenter, “@the_real_slim_goody really!!! Wow can we just show ourselves encouraging and not be so negative. BLESSINGS ma’am.”
But when the original poster responded to a question about how they became aware of that alleged information, they said, “I’m just giving him a.heads up…I know he got that ironclad prenup. She’s the one going to be wailing on IG when he dumps her for the next shiny thing🤣”
Despite the brief negativity, others praised the couple, who were seen separately in recent photos not wearing their wedding rings.

As Steve Harvey’s 2019 Sand and Soul Festival kicks off in Cancun, Mexico, this week, opening night was dedicated to Marjorie as a Beachside Jazz & Cocktails reception was held. Later that night, Ginuwine took the stage and performed at the Welcome to Paradise party.
