Over the years, 50 Cent and Floyd Mayweather have engaged in more back and forth than two tennis players. And in their latest exchange, 50 was the one who served.
It all started last week, when Mayweather posted a photo of himself wearing a long Louis Vuitton sweater, pearls, a black turtleneck, sunglasses and hard bottom shoes with no socks. And based on how the boxer captioned the photo, he considered the look nothing less than stupendous.
“All I do is dress, flex and progress,” wrote Mayweather next to the photo.
But 50 didn’t think the outfit was nice or fashion forward. In fact, he said it was something a senior citizen would wear, not a man who’s 42 years of age.
“Champ on his bulls**t again, dats that granny drip,” wrote Fif in the now deleted post.
He also replaced Mayweather’s face with an elderly woman’s to drive his point home.
And even though the rapper’s message was deleted, along with his follower’s comments, people still clowned Mayweather under his post since he never removed it.
“My grandma dresses better π and she wants her pearls back,” someone commented.
“Donβt care how expensive that is, why are you dressed like that?!” another person chimed in.
“All you do is look like a whole clown. Wtf man,” one person wrote.
“You need a new stylist lol smfh ππππ€¦π½ββοΈ,” wrote another.
50 and the boxer were close friends at one point and were members of the crew The Money Team. But they had a very public falling out, then made up with each other afterwards.
But that truce was short-lived because they began beefing again when Mayweather hired Teairra Mari to promote one of his events.
Mari sued 50 after he posted a screenshot of a sexually explicit video she was in, but the case was thrown out, and she was ordered to pay Fif’s legal fees.
Mari and the rapper have been going at each other since then, and 50 accused Mayweather of disloyalty for working with her. And that’s what broke up their friendship the second time.
