Cynthia Bailey just announced she’s set the date to head down the aisle with fiancé Mike Hill, but it’s the photo she chose to accompany the announcement that has several fans talking.
“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star confirmed on Instagram Oct. 2 that she and her boyfriend of more than a year have put their wedding date set in stone. She also amended the caption to give her “RHOA” co-star Kandi Burruss credit for helping the couple pick the date for their big day.
“things 2 do: set wedding date. ✔️💍 hint: we can see it perfectly fun fact: @kandi came up with the perfect wedding date for us! @itsmikehill #CHill #weddingdateset,” read Bailey’s caption.
Fans began pouring out congratulatory messages for the duo and sharing their guesses as to what day Bailey and Hill will exchange “I dos.”
“Congratulations @cynthiabailey10….did I hear a hint hint at the date??? 02202020💍”
“I’m so excited for you @cynthiabailey10 let them bells ring honeyyyyyyy 😘😘😘😘”
“Congratulations… Will it be on the show?? If not just DM me for the deets to send my invite👑👑👑 #CHill”
“Let me guess 🧐 02/02/2020, 20/20 backward and forward!”
However, the post took a turn when Bailey’s followers took notice of the size of the 5-foot-10 model’s shoes and feet in comparison to her beau’s.
“Wow Cynthia feet is the same size as his 🤣”
“She got big feet”
“Girl, you got big feet 😂🤣😂 @chriiiislyn_ @christopherbrownlow_”
Several fans jumped in to defend the star.
“@chef_lynell_rene point that out because???….I’m sure she’s lived her feet all her life. You’re not saying nothing new”
“@chef_lynell_rene it wouldn’t make sense for her to wear a smaller shoes size with her height.😍”
“@cynthiabailey10 tell her you looking real tall when you standing on yo POCKETBOOK 💯💯💝💝”
But Bailey didn’t miss a beat. She promptly responded to one fan, saying, “@onacilopailuj yeah i got big feet.” To another, she said simply, “I know.”
Hill and Bailey began dating after the reality star visited “Steve” last spring to let host Steve Harvey play matchmaker. Bailey was initially unsure about Hill, considering he lives in California, while she resides in Atlanta. Still, she picked the Fox Sports 1 newscaster for his “quest for peace and happiness.”
By the time summer 2019 rolled around Bailey opened up her wine cellar, and it was there that Hill popped the question in July.
“never give up on love. we are all deserving of the best feeling in the 🌎. trust God & go with your heart. God’s plan, God’s will & God’s speed, not yours. always believe. never stop. never settle. be happy. and grateful. love can show up when you least expect it & in the unlikeliest of places. thank u my friend @iamsteveharveytv. and when it happens, don’t walk, run toward it. and enjoy. life is too short💋” Bailey wrote on Instagram after the engagement.
