Nene Leakes and Jennifer Williams recently caught up with each other for a night out, and the linkup had fans delighted.
The ladies’ outing was captured by Williams’ pal and “Basketball Wives” newbie Dominique Lenard. On Sept. 28, it appeared as if Lenard and Williams had ventured to Atlanta following Leakes’ return home from a trip to Greece with “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” cast. The reality stars and Leakes’ husband Gregg reportedly enjoyed a meal at Cheetah and some fun together Saturday night.
“Ain’t no cropping that ponytail” Lenard exclaims, taking a dig at the moment when Malaysia Pargo posted a photo of her and Evelyn Lozada to her Instagram account at Williams’ sip and shop event in May. Although it was Williams’ event, Pargo cropped out the Classy Girl Wardrobe founder’s face from the background of the image, with just her ponytail remaining visible.
“Ain’t no croppin’. Y’all look amazin’,” Lenard continued before she and another person off-camera complimented Gregg on “killing it” with Nene’s massive wedding ring.
“That’s the most beautiful ring I’ve ever seen,” Lenard remarks before the video cuts to Williams getting applauded and cheered on by Leakes and the rest of the dinner guests as she twerks at the table.

Nene and Williams are not new to getting together for a night out or a daytime bonding session. Their friendship dates back to at least 2012, when the “Basketball Wives” star ignored rumors that she was having payment issues with her Bentley by retweeting her “RHOA” star buddy.
“People love 2 say negative things 2 try an slow u down so they can try 2 catch up! Stop lying,” read Leakes’ tweet, to which Williams added, “Hi Haters!”
The duo were also spotted grabbing a meal together that same year, and in 2018 they hit up the Sofitel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills hotel where they took in a show with Leakes’ friend-turned-foe Cynthia Bailey. This past spring, the duo shook their fanbases when they posed alongside each other. In particular, viewers of their respective reality TV programs called out the stars for their pot-stirring ways.
