Singer Cassie has no qualms about her figure as an expectant mom, and she’s taken to Instagram to show it off. But in doing so she had fans mixing her up with actress Zendaya.
The “Me & U” performer uploaded a throwback video to her Instagram Story Tuesday showing off her expanding belly that she said has gotten much bigger since then.
“Can’t believe this was only a month and a half ago! I’m way bigger now!” Cassie remarked of the August 11 clip that she reshared on Sept. 24.
But fans who saw the 3-second footage were forced to do a double-take after mixing Cassie up with the “Euphoria” star.

It was the first view Cassie fans had of her baby bump since she debuted it in a maternity shoot she posted on her Instagram account on August 26. At the time, Cassie posed nude save for hair covering her bosom with her legs crossed over each other as she wore a crystal-covered mask over her face. The purpose was perhaps so that the focus remained on her stomach, but fans were confused about the singer’s artistic choice.

In what may have been an effort to calm her IG followers, Cassie followed up the post a day later with another view of her nude, pregnant body. She lay across some beach rocks with her hair and her arm once again covering her breasts and stared directly into the camera.
“Birthday Suit,” she captioned the pic.
Cassie is expecting her first child, a girl, with beau Alex Fine, to whom she became engaged in August. The pair had been dating at least since December 2018. Before then, Cassie permanently called it quits with her longtime on-and-off boyfriend Sean “Diddy” Combs in October.
While 33-year-old Cassie continues to bask in her betrothal to 26-year-old Fine, 49-year-old Diddy has allegedly moved on with a much younger woman in the form of 22-year-old model Lori Harvey.
