As viewers watched the latest episode of “Married to Medicine” Sunday night, they may have missed that two cast members are no longer viewing each other’s social media updates.
A fan account for the Atlanta-based Bravo reality series revealed that Dr. Contessa Metcalfe and Mariah Huq ceased following each other on Instagram. While it’s not clear when the change occurred, fans who noticed the post began drawing their own conclusions based on what erupted on the newest episode of the show.
During a tense sit-down, Dr. Simone Whitmore had Huq’s support as she sat face-to-face with Dr. Heavenly Kimes, who was flanked by Dr. Jackie Walters. Whitmore explained she took issue with Kimes apparently telling the rest of the cast about her thoughts on Whitmore’s husband, Cecil Whitmore’s employment status. The dentist, on the other hand, had a problem with Cecil tweeting about her needing to pressure wash her house. Things got heated enough to where Huq urged the OB/GYN to head off to the restroom to take a breather.
Catching the scene and then noticing that Mariah and Contessa dropped each other from their IG timelines, viewers let their feelings fly.

Huq, an executive producer on “M2M,” has so far stayed out of drama on the latest season of the series. But while viewers are only three episodes in, Metcalfe clashed with one of her cast mates in the premiere episode. That’s when she fired off on Toya Bush-Harris and exclaimed, “Your husband is literally the definition of a big ass b–h!”
