Wendy Williams is gearing up to start production on her new Lifetime biopic, and she recently gave fans some insight on a longstanding rumor that she promises will be mentioned on the small screen.
The talk show host answered a question on the after show for “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” Sunday night about Lil Kim‘s claim that Williams once hooked up with her ex-boyfriend The Notorious B.I.G.
A “WWHL” viewer wondered if Kim’s remark would be addressed on the talk show host’s upcoming flick, and Wendy spilled that it would be put out on the table in the film rumored to be called “Just Wendy.”
“That will play out in my Lifetime movie, OK?” she states before giggling as she hid her face in her hand.
Back in 2013, Williams discussed Kim on “The Wendy Williams Show” and dissed the female MC’s rumored surgical procedures that have drastically changed her appearance over the years.
“In my mind, I knew your goal was always to look like La Toya Jackson. You’ve out-La Toya’d La Toya in your new look. Don’t blame Photoshopping, blame your plastic surgeon, girl,” she said in an on-air segment, which MTV reported was also posted to her Twitter account with Kim tagged in it.
The Queen Bee didn’t take kindly to that, however, and fired off on her own Twitter account.
“@WendyWilliams Stop hating on me because U sucked Big’s d— & he didn’t want nothing to do with yo ass after that,” she tweeted before adding in a separate post, “It’s time for the world to know the real. I’m not playing with yo ass no more. Let’s Get it!!!!”
Williams is rumored to be addressing a lot of details about her past in the biopic, which she will co-produce with Will Packer, the man behind the 2017 summer hit comedy “Girls Trip,” among other smash hit films.
A past report from TMZ claims virtually nothing will be off-limits in the 2020 release. Among the topics said to be discussed are Williams’ faceoffs against Hollywood racism and sexism, her childhood fat-shaming at the hands of her family, and the coke addiction she finally kicked after a deacade. Additionally, it’s said that a past allegation of being date-raped by a high-rolling performer will also be discussed.
And in perhaps what will be some of the juiciest moments of the doc, Williams’ marriage to estranged husband Kevin Hunter is also set to be a topic in the small-screen movie.
