It’s no secret that Tami Roman says this is her last season on “Basketball Wives,” and fans proclaim they will refuse to keep watching without her presence.
Fans let their feelings be known when one asked the longtime reality star Wednesday how many more episodes they can expect to see her in.
“If you’re reading this, let me know if we’ll see you back on BasketBall Wives or not so I can stop watching,” the fan tweeted at Roman.
The star responded by saying, “I think I’m in one more episode, then the reunion & that’s a wrap 🤷🏽♀️ but you can’t stop watching, it’s still very entertaining.”
However, supporters were not eager to keep watching season 8, which has two more episodes to air before the reunion episode bows. According to Roman’s followers, “Basketball Wives” doesn’t exist without her.
“Auntie… He said we not watching it no more! We going with you😂”
“I’m definitely done watching if you aren’t going to be in it anymore!”
“Well it will be a wrap for me too so many of them are jus so fake and I jus can’t waste the eye sight on the Fakes anymore… Your the only reason I watched this season.”
“Say whatcha want but w/ out u boo. There is no show @TamiRoman 💁♂️”
“The show is TRASH with Tami not there…. she’s the one of the only. Besides @iHeartOG that will hold people accountable and will call them out on their BS….. @ShaunieONeal doesn’t even have that backbone.”
“To much DRAMA!!! going on to keep watching it…You’re be on #SaintsAndSinners and I’ll be watching you on there Felicia😉”
Roman nearly did not appear on “Basketball Wives” at all. The star had a rough go of it last season when Evelyn Lozada took aim at her over her weight. Such clashes seemed to have “The Real World” alum wanting out on the series.
While many of her cast mates began filming over the summer, Roman remained quiet after telling “Entertainment Tonight” in January that her return was dependent on her feeling comfortable.
“If I were to go back, certain changes would have to be made for me to be comfortable in that environment. … I don’t necessarily know if I’ll return, but we are talking about how everybody can be comfortable in that environment,” she said.
By the time the NAACP Image Awards rolled around in March, however, Roman confirmed that she would appear for a final season because of contractual obligations.
“I just had to make sure that it was in an environment that I would be comfortable in,” she told reporters. “They kinda promised me that, and so, contractually, I’m back.”
