Social media is showing a lot of love to “Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta” star Stevie J. after he cleared the air about his current relationship with ex Joseline Hernandez.
For those who don’t know, the pair descended into a nasty custody fight over their 2-year-old daughter Bonnie Bella last month after Stevie J. accused Hernandez of violating their 2018 custody agreement. He claimed the 32-year-old mother refused to let him visit their toddler.
Fast-forward to this past weekend, and Stevie J. addressed his alleged strained relationship with the mother of his 2-year-old, letting people know they’re on good terms. He took to Instagram on Saturday with a video of himself and his 9-year-old daughter Eva Jordan, whom he shares with ex-girlfriend Mimi Faust, addressing people who’ve probed him over his custody battle with Hernandez.
“What up, Eva?” he said to his daughter, who replied, “What up tho.”
Stevie J. continued, “A lot of stuff going on in the blogs about me and Joseline. … We’re co-parenting, everything smooth.”
The former “Bad Boy Entertainment” producer also wrote in his video caption, “Grateful for Co parenting. Thank you for being supportive my lovely wife, I need you always. @therealfaithevans @mimifaust Hey @joseline @balisticbeats much respect & love.”
Hernandez seconded Stevie J.’s comments, writing underneath his post, “We love you guys always! #family.”
The internet commended both parents who were once enemies for being amicable with each other and seemingly focused on the best interests of baby Bella.
“Maturity on all levels ❤️ the future is good for your children. Love the kids.”
“@hitmansteviej_1 you are a great father and I’m happy that u and joseline are co-parenting. That’s mature and a blessing all in one. Peace to you and yours.”
“I love this proud of ya’ll 💋🙏🏼 I’m so here for this you guys have matured so much. I thank God y’all letting the drama go. The benefit is Bonnies heart.”
“That’s great for you two 👏🏼👏🏼 I’m so happy to see this 🤗 the heart yearns for this, peace and love. It’s a beautiful thang”
Stevie J.’s video comes shortly before Hernandez clapped back at “the blogs.”
“My first born harder than a lot of you niggas✌🏽,” Hernandez clapped back via Instagram August 31. “Let me give you the story myself. … The Primary custody of my daughter belongs to her Mother and her Father. Is sad that you so call reporters obtain fake paperwork to ruin relationships. So if you had a question of her where abouts…….. She’s in the sky!”
Last week, Bossip reported that Stevie was awarded primary custody of his and Hernandez’s 2-year-old following their court appearance last month. The gossip site claimed that Hernandez was apparently just given visitation rights. The 32-year-old mother, however, claimed the information wasn’t true, discrediting it as “fake” news.
