Toni Braxton was feeling herself Wednesday and decided to jam out to a tune with Lil Kim featuring Biggie Smalls, but her mini-celebration was thrown off when fans started to inquire about her engagement to rapper Birdman.
“Feeling myself with some @lilkimthequeenbee, lost 2 more pounds @orangetheory Woo-Hoo! ๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝ,” Braxton captioned the video of her mouthing the words to Junior M.A.F.I.A.’s “Get Money.”
Fans got their lives upon seeing the footage.
“ICON listening to another ICON๐ฅ๐๐ฅ”
“You just put a big smile on my face what would life be without Toni B !โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ๐๐๐๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ”
“Love how you just chilling to Biggie Song. Get it girl.”
However, the adoration over the moment was derailed when one fan took the opportunity to ask about Braxton’s engagement status with Birdman.
“I guess the wedding is finally off ?????๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐”
Several other fans, however, did not appreciate the Instagram user for getting into Braxton’s business.
“@mojodreams Donโt come for her tf.๐คจ,” one fan said.
Another asked, “@mojodreams why does it matter what does that have to do with her jamming to a lil Kim song smh.”
“@mojodreams I donโt care about this being social media ๐ people need to realize that celebrities are human just like us. They have feelings, they hurt, they cry. Your comment was totally unnecessary because as I said, this post has nothing to do with her personal lifeโฆ know your limits,” someone replied.
Then, a fan offered that the questioning IG user would be in the know if they had watched โBraxton Family Valuesโ last season.
“@mojodreams and no the wedding isnโt actually off you would know if you watched #bfv ๐ just sayin,” they commented.
On the reality show, Braxton clarified she and her fiancรฉ are not pumping the brakes on their nuptials. Birdman made it plain on โThe Wendy Williams Showโ earlier this year that there were no problems in his relationship with the “Un-break My Heart” singer.
โBut it was cap. When I mean cap, it was fake,” he said explaining the allegations of trouble brewing between the couple was created just for clicks. โLike, I donโt know how the sโt even took place. On the real, for real, I would never be a man to bring none of my business to social media.โ
Birdman addressed questions about the pair’s engagement after New Year’s Day posts they made separately on social media led fans to believe they were no longer an item.
