‘You Look Snatched’: Tamar Braxton’s Celebration of Sister Trina’s TV Job Has Fans More Focused on Her Apparent Weight Loss

Tamar Braxton may not have always put herself aside for her family, but she did just that in an Instagram post commemorating her sister Trina Braxton’s work anniversary. However, fans soon began remarking on Trina’s apparently slimmed-down frame instead.

“Happy First anniversary on the @sistercircletv @trinabraxton1 !!!! soooooo proud of you 🥰🥰 congratulations 🎈🎊🍾,” Tamar gleefully wrote in a caption of an August 27 photo of Trina posing in front of the signage for “Sister Circle Live.”

Trina began on “Sister Circle” last year, taking over the spot vacated by comedian Kiana Dancie in April 2018. At the time, the TVOne show’s executive producer Helen Swanson told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution that she quickly admired the chemistry Trina brought to the hosts when she sat in on some episodes during season 1, adding that she found the singer’s “soulfulness” engaging.

But fans were less impressed with Trina making it to the one-year mark and more focused on her skinnier appearance.

“Girl you look snatched. I need your diet”

“She lost all that weight!”

“❤️ Looking fabulous and glowing”

“Hey Slim💙”

“you look AMAZING ❤️🔥💯”

“Come through wedding body! Congrats!”

Even her younger sister Tamar took notice, writing on the photo, which Trina initially shared to her Instagram page, “Getting skinty😘.”

The weight loss is all part of Trina’s plan to slim down as she prepares to walk down the aisle with fiancé Von Scales. While Trina has been documenting what she’s been doing to drop the weight on Instagram, it hasn’t always been smooth sailing.

In July, she shared a photo of her rolling her eyes next to Scales after he suggested the duo grab pizza.

“My Face when @vonscales says he wants PiZZA for the second day in a row and I am trying to fit into my wedding gown!” she captioned the photo.

Trina’s eagerness to get back into shape is now even more palpable as she’s begun giving Instagram followers little glimpses into how her wedding dress will look.

Designed by Israeli clothing brand Naama & Anat Bridal, Trina enlisted the help of the self-proclaimed Bridal Queen of L.A. Briannah Jayde to get her sparkly gown. Additionally, Margaret Rowe Couture Jewelry added some embellishments.

“We are getting close! I can not wait to see it and try it on!” Trina exclaimed in part when she made her latest gown tease at the top of the month.
