When Lil’ Mo announced that she split with her husband Karl Dargan in May a lot of people didn’t believe her. But now, months later, folks not only seem to have accepted that Dargan is permanently out of the picture, they said Mo looks wonderful as a result.
On Saturday, the singer, reality star and radio personality shared an Instagram photo of herself where she sported a peach-colored sweatshirt with turquoise hair flecked with green highlights, and she got all kinds of compliments. But not just because of the hair color, which many seemed to love, but because she appeared happy and at ease.
“Serious break up glow!” one person wrote in the comments.
“Sisss the GLO up is ❣️❣️,” wrote another.
“Yasss ol’ skool Mo is Bak 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍,” a third person chimed in.
Another person asked the 40-year-old to stay in that positive place, because she seems really content these days.
“You look sooooo happy!!! Stay in this place your in! YAHWEH is with you Mo! ❤️❤️❤️,” that person commented.
Some may recall Dargan was caught FaceTiming another woman when he and Mo were on “Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition” earlier this year, and it wasn’t the first time he was accused of cheating.
“I don’t do bum s–t or flock with peasants,” Mo wrote in a May Instagram message that showed her wearing a crown. “That s–t beneath me. F–k nigga free GLOW! Get rid of the dead weight and level up. Told y’all i was gonna get ME back.”
Then a few days later, the “Super Woman” singer gave her fans an update on how she was doing as a single woman.
“SINGLE!!! Looks good on me,” wrote Mo on May 26. “Happy feels sooooo wonderful. GLOW LITTY all them want get WIT ME!! The streets waited for this announcement!! IN REAL LIFE.”
