Over the last few months, social media users wondered if Safaree Samuels and his fiancée Erica Mena were expecting a little one on the way, but it looks like the pair aren’t.
In a recent video of Samuels’ bride-to-be showing off her cooking skills, fans apparently noticed a “baby bump.” Mena was seemingly wearing a two-piece crop-top and pant outfit that revealed her midsection. Folks claimed she looked pregnant from her side profile, noticing her apparent protruding belly.

The “Love and Hip Hop: New York” actor responded to folks in the comments, noting that people have been assuming his fiancée is with child since last year.
“Y’all been saying she’s pregnant since December🤦🏾♂️😩.. the Internet knows more than the ppl involved nowadays 😐.”
In April, Mena confirmed she wasn’t pregnant after baby rumors surrounded her and Samuels. She claimed she gained weight and was “just thicker than before.”
The 31-year-old model did, however, claim they were in the process of trying to have a child. During an Instagram Live video in March, Mena claimed at the time she’d been using sea moss — a supposed age-old Caribbean fertility concoction for couples trying to have a child — during her and Samuels’ stay in the Caribbean.
“I’ve had sea moss,” she said. “Cause you know we’re trying to have a baby, so we’re putting it inside our drinks and stuff.”
The pair first announced they were dating around November 2018, a month after she broke up with her ex Cliff Dixon, who was shot and killed in suburban Atlanta in March. The pair then got engaged on Christmas Eve after the New York rapper proposed to her. They’ve supposedly set the date for the wedding but have yet to announce it on social media.
Mena and Samuels recently announced their wedding was going to be a big surprise.
