‘F—ked Up Feet’: Angela Simmons’ Fashion Blues Post Flops Over Her ‘Bumpy Toes’

Angela Simmons, the daughter of legendary MC Rev. Run of Run-D.M.C., found herself in the middle of dissension when folks judged her apparent flawed feet.

The “Growing Up Hip Hop” star’s beauty is clearly undeniable, but folks apparently have an issues with other parts of her appearance. Wednesday afternoon, the mother of one took to Instagram and posted a fashion post of herself sporting a blue, form-fitting tunic dress complemented with a pair of tan, open-toe kitten heels.

Her blue diamond-and-heart-captioned post received over 39,000 likes, but some fans in the comments seemed mortified after zooming in on Simmons’ “busted” feet.

“Damn ma you lookin good but what’s going on with them feet 🧐😕.”

“You and Ciara have the most f–ked up busted feet n the game whew chile da toes 😒.”

“She needs to wear her shoe size with all them bumps on her toes. . poor thing makes too much money to have bumpy toes 😫.”

Although Simmons hasn’t responded to the apparent social media foot police, she’s been vocal in the past about not caring about what others think of her appearance. One of her most recent posts from June where she put her semi-naked body on display, read, “UNAPOLOGETIC #NotLookingForYourOpinions #BNB.”

She also wanted to help other women feel the same way and launched social campaign Pressure Makes Diamonds last September. The campaign was founded on helping teenagers and millennial women overcome low confidence and self-esteem.

The whole idea of this campaign and the mission just came from [my] life and the pressures that I’ve been through,” she told Black Enterprise, referring to her teenage struggles with body image issues. She said the goal of the campaign is to promote healthier living, mentally, physically and emotionally.
