During “LHHATL’s” season finale on Monday night, the “Dope Boy Magic” artist unexpectedly proposed to Robinson in front of family and friends after feuding for the last few episodes of the series. While at a concocted masquerade event created to throw his soon-to-be wife off, Joc got down on one knee with a diamond ring and asked for her hand in marriage. Although the series didn’t show whether Robinson accepted her beloved’s proposal, Joc took to his Instagram Monday evening to let the world know she said yes.
“Had to Put her #hotgirlsummer on ice 😅😂 #shesaidyes🥇,” he wrote with an up-close video of his fiancée’s ring. “on #TheNextChapter #MeetTheRobinsons.”
Robinson herself added, “I said yes!!!🥰💎I love you @joclive with all my heart. Thank you for your love, and for making me the happiest woman alive!!!! I cannot wait to become MRS. Robinson!!!!!! You’re the best babe!😘♥️🥰💕#Fiancée.”
The “It’s Going Down” rapper introduced viewers to Robinson this season and made it quite clear she was the woman who stole his heart. However, their relationship was tested earlier during the show when Robinson, an Atlanta attorney, learned Joc may have still been having a fling with ex-girlfriend Karlie Redd, who claimed she and the rapper almost got intimate during the duration of his and Robinson’s relationship.
Cheating rumors continued surrounding Joc’s relationship, and tempers flared when he came face-to-face with exes Redd and Sina and his business partner Sharonda, who seemed to be responsible for the hearsay. The confrontation led to the Streetz 94.5 Atlanta radio host throwing a tray across the room and accusing his exes of ruining his relationship with Robinson.
Although he and his fiancée seemed to call it quits when the rumors surfaced, they eventually made their way back to each other. Social media sent a wave of congratulations the couple’s way.
“🙏🏼I love them together 🎉Congratulations Family.”
“Made me cry. Shame on yall! 😍👊 Such a beautiful beginning @joclive and Kendra Congratulations 🍾.”
“So happy 4 them 😍 I’m happy for them both, they have my blessing ❤️.”
Joc and Robinson have yet to announce their wedding date. It appears the couple first began dating around early 2018.
