“Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta” star Masika Kalysha apparently can’t catch a break from social media’s wrath.
The We TV reality star shared a video this week dispelling her latest “rachettivity,” as she called it. The clip showed her driving in her car with disheveled hair and a face of makeup from the previous day.
“Bedhead, yesterday’s makeup, I didn’t wash my face when I was sleep, which is terrible — but my lipstick is still on,” Kalysha said in her video, promoting her Praline Cosmetics line. “I put this s–t on yesterday, wore it all day, ate some drinks and ate some food and still on.”
She continued her rant in her Instagram caption: “I didn’t want to even post this due to the severe level of ratchettivity 😂 but I had to share.”
Clearly seeing it coming, Kalysha was blasted by fans for her supposed bad hygienic routine.
“So that means you ain’t brushed yo teeth yet Nd you on camera 😂 wheeewww Chile the nastiness.”
“So in other words you didn’t shower 😳🧼 girl….”
“So you ain’t brush your teeth 🙄 this is nasty 🤢.”
Kalysha addressed naysayers’ remarks in her comment, admitting that she didn’t shower nor brush her teeth due to her busy schedule. She then fired back, “What’s funny is they don’t understand that making negative comments on my posts being [bring] more attention. More attention brings more sales 🤷.”
Clapping back at critics apparently has never been an issue with Kalysha, admitting to 96.7 The Beat during an interview that she hits back at them in the name of her supporters.
“As silly as it sounds, I feel like my supporters need it,” the 34-year-old mother of one said. “It’s entertaining. I’m very witty, and I feel like a lot of people are very stupid. So I feel like stupid questions or stupid things said deserve an equally stupid response.”
Despite a wave of negative Nellies trashing the celeb’s post, she also received a ton of compliments from fans who showered her with support.
“Masika you so pretty. Loving the lipstick 😍 at least she honest about herself 🤣.”
