It looks like “Love and Hip Hop” couple Erica Mena and Safaree Samuels may be over for good.
Social media went into a tizzy Thursday morning after Samuels ex-girlfriend and “Love and Hip Hop: Miami” star Gabrielle Davis exposed him for cheating on his fiancé Mena by posting screenshots of their alleged text message exchange on Instagram. It’s unclear as to why she put the “Hunnid” rapper on blast, but he apparently must’ve really teed her off.
Throughout the entire social media debacle, Mena seemed calm, cool and collected and even defended her fiancé, accusing Davis of lying. Well, it seems the 31-year-old model had a change of heart and has seemingly called things off with Samuels.
Mena took to her Instagram story Friday afternoon and posted a video of herself trampling on roses presumably sent to her by Samuels with broken glass all over what seemed to be an apartment. She even recorded herself knocking over several vases of roses and wrote over the image “Scorpio vibes.”
She also went on Instagram Live around 2 a.m. Friday morning when fans noticed she was no longer wearing her engagement ring. She also removed the New York rapper’s last name from her social media pages and as well as a few of their photos together.
Samuels hasn’t said a peep about the incident and has seemingly stayed clear of social media.
The screenshots and receipts Davis posted that are allegedly between her and Samuels show the “LHHNY” actor professing his love for her while also saying he wasn’t planning on marrying Mena anytime soon. He even asked Davis to stop asking about his and his fiancée’s relationship.
It’s unclear if Davis’ messages were recent or before Mena and Safaree became publicly exclusive in November 2018. A few of the text exchange dates go back to May 2018 and November 2018. She’s since deleted all of her posts blasting the rapper, but not before throwing a jab at Mena, claiming Samuels “stays in everyone’s msgs.”
Mena hit back with a post of her own, seemingly calling Davis a “basic b–ch.”
Social media has had mixed of reactions to the entire tawdry affair.
