“Basketball Wives LA” reality star Draya Michele is strutting her stuff in her new Instagram post.
The 34-year-old took to Instagram Thursday showing herself at what appears to be an airport while decked out in a matching Josephina crop top and Quinn trouser that exposed her snatched waistline, orange low-pump heels, chained glasses, with a long bob. Michele’s two-piece outfit was designed by Camila Coelho from her Camila Coelho collection. All together, her crop top and trousers retail $286. Her shoes were from the brand Gianvito Rossi.
“Your flight leaves at 8, her flight lands at 9 … my game just rewinds,” Michele wrote for her caption before hashtagging “ ♾ #revolvearoundtheworld@revolve.” The mother of two accumulated over 100,000 likes, and fans were here for her edgy look.
“Ma’am!!!!!!!! 😍😍😍😍😍,” one fan wrote.
“Girl 😍😍😍,” another fan wrote.
“Draya, you never disappoint 😍🔥.”
“😩😩😩😍😍😍😍😍 I just love you.”
While many fans were loving the VH1 star’s look, not everyone has been a fan of her outfit choices. On April 25, an online fashion boutique called Forward took to their official Instagram account and shared an image of Michele and Canadian model Nicole Williams modeling clothing from luxury brands such as Versace and Alexandre Vauthier.
Michele rocked an emerald pleated bow top and a pair of high-waist light-washed jeans.
Social media user Ms. Ali G wasn’t here for Michele’s fit and claimed that her jeans didn’t flatter her skin tone.
“Girl on the right, no sister. The pants aren’t great for your skin tone, and the bra top doesn’t fit,” the person commented.
Michele, being the fiery snapback queen she is, replied to Ms. Ali G’s remark with some choice words: “@ms_ali_g tip… constructive criticism is welcome, and thank you for your opinion. However, don’t ever refer to me as ‘sister’ when speaking about me in a manner that is not positive … and don’t EVER mention my skin tone in a manner that is not positive. Take care and be sure to wear your SPF … 😘”
Fans applauded Michele for standing her ground against Ms. Ali G.
“Get her Draya! Aren’t the pants great for your skin tone 🤔? never knew skin tone played a factor when it came to 👖 clearly miss Ali is racist smh.”
“Huh?! They are not pants they are jeans and when do you match jeans to your skin tone 🤔🤔🤔 and why the hell do that lady care 🤦🏾♀️.”
“Her jeans don’t match her skin tone? WTH! Wypipo getting too comfy 🤣 that lady deserved that clap back!”
“🎯 Love Draya’s classy clap back 👏🏽 hit them with the unexpected!!!!! White people always saying dumb racist s–t!”
Well, love or hate her outfit choices, Michele doesn’t seem fazed one bit about people’s opinions of her daring and unique looks.
