Jada Pinkett Smith chose not to dodge a question about her sex life during an upcoming episode of “Red Table Talk.” And to some, that may not be surprising considering she’s openly discussed having a sex and porn addiction on the show.
The next episode will hit the Internet on Monday, and on it a fan asked if the actress ever had a ménage à trois. Pinkett Smith’s 18-year-old daughter Willow Smith is the one who relayed the question, then got a little embarrassed at her mother’s answer.
“I had a threesome once. I was very, very young,” said Pinkett Smith while the teen shielded her eyes. “I didn’t like it. It just didn’t have the level of intimacy [I was looking for]. But I tried it once and I was like ‘Well, that’s not for me.’”
But the “Bad Moms” actress said the experience might’ve been different and far better if there was real emotion involved. Pinkett Smith said the sex act was based purely off physical attraction for two other people at the time.
“But I always think if I was in love with two people, that’s another level,” she confided. “I could see and join a threesome then, but I was a kid. I saw two cute people and I was like, ‘Hey.’”
“[It was] a sexual experiment,” the actress’ mother Adrienne Banfield-Jones said afterward.
Monday’s episode covers the topic of marriages that fall outside of societal convention, and Pinkett Smith, her daughter and Banfield-Jones interview two women and a man who are in a polyamorous relationship.
After Monday’s sneak peek surfaced, a lot of folks commented on Pinkett Smith’s apparent candor.
“I love her honesty! No one will ever be able to blackmail Jada 😂😂😂,” someone wrote on Facebook.
“Most of y’all agree with her but afraid to say Yes in the comments or never had two people that you like want a threesome🤔😂,” another person followed. “Get it Jada with that rich life stuff! 😉 She just being honest y’all 😬”
“Love the honesty, BUT it’s just some stuff I don’t want my kids to know about me, some stuff I’m taking to the grave,” another person wrote.
But others were seemingly uncomfortable with the 47-year-old’s reveal.
“Why does the public need to know this about Jada?” one person asked.
“Ratings, are important, so shock, shock the world. Meanwhile embarrassing your husband and family,” another commented.
