Report: ‘LHHNY’ Star Brittney Taylor Slapped With a Restraining Order After Allegedly Attacking Witness

Things aren’t looking too bright for “Love and Hip Hop: New York” star Brittney Taylor after a New York judge reportedly ordered her to stay away from a woman she’s been accused of physically assaulting.

Over the weekend, the television personality was arrested for allegedly attacking a woman by the name of Dina Khalil in the lobby of her Manhattan condominium. Taylor apparently chucked a cellphone at the woman’s face, hitting her in the forehead. Officers said the reported victim also suffered scratches on her neck, TMZ reported.

Well, it seems criminal justice officials believed the apparent victim and hit the “LHHNY” celeb with a restraining order, according to TMZ. She’s obligated to stay away from the woman and turn over any of her firearms to authorities. The temporary order of protection against Taylor will last until December 14.

It’s unknown what sparked the alleged argument between Taylor and Khalil, but the New York Daily News is reporting that the woman is a witness in Taylor’s own assault case against Remy Ma, whom the 30-year-old star accused of assaulting her in an alleged fight in April at Manhattan’s Irving Plaza.

Taylor’s attorney, Sanford Rubenstein, told TMZ that he’s asking for a meeting with the Manhattan DA in hopes of getting his client’s prosecution dropped “in the interest of justice.”

He also stated that the “LHHNY” actress’s recent legal trouble won’t change their current legal action against the “All the Way Up” rapper.

“The arrest of Brittney Taylor does not in any way change the facts of the assault of Brittney Taylor for which Remy Ma is being prosecuted by the Manhattan district attorney,” Rubenstein told Page Six on Saturday.

Fans have had mixed reactions to Taylor’s current legal woes.

“2 black woman loosing in the system now… 🤦🏾‍♀️ I actually feel bad for her.
