For the first time, Wendy Williams has acknowledged that her estranged husband Kevin Hunter had a baby with his longtime mistress.
The talk show host made the admission to TMZ Tuesday, about two months after Hunter’s mistress Sharina Hudson reportedly gave birth.
“Look, my husband had a full baby with a woman he was involved with for 15 years … where I was cooped up only to be a show pony. Now I’m living my life,” she told the outlet.
Allegedly, Hudson gave birth to her and Hunter’s baby at a Philadelphia hospital on March 20. Rumors reported by YouTube vlogger Tasha K claim, as of May, that Hunter sent Hudson to live in the Dominican Republic rather than the Manhattan apartment he put her up in after the couple moved out of a home close to the one he shared with Williams in New Jersey last year.
Since filing to divorce Hunter in April, however, Williams has also been, in her words, “dippin’ and doin’ it.” She’s indicated on “The Wendy Williams Show” that she’s enjoying the single life and is dating around. One man she’s been spending time with is the much younger fella she gave fans a glimpse of on Instagram this weekend. After she reportedly met him during a night out with Blac Chyna, TMZ has identified her boo as Marc Tomblin.
Photogs caught up with the two as they were on a shopping spree in New York City, and the celebrity gossip site unearthed court documents that purport to show Tomblin has a record.
The documents say Tomblin pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon in Charlotte, North Carolina, six years ago. According to authorities in the records, Tomblin was one of three people who robbed a man at gunpoint. The 27-year-old was sentenced to 15 to 30 months in the slammer. Bossip, which also obtained the records, reported he was released in 2014.
Additionally, Tomblin’s LinkedIn page states he is an investor and blogger who resides in the Charlotte area.
Despite his criminal past, which Williams said Tomblin told her about, the star said, “I’m not stupid!”
“I am a 54-year-old grown-ass woman,” she added. “I know what I’m doing.”
Williams, whose assistant also alerted her to Tomblin’s past, described her younger guy as a friend, adding their relationship is “no-strings-attached fun.”
“He is lovely, but let me make it clear: I don’t have a boyfriend,” she added.
