‘Go Lay Lay!’: Alexis Skyy’s 1-Year-Old Daughter Shocks Fans After Seemingly Reaching This Milestone Amid Medical Condition

It seems Alexis Skyy‘s miracle baby Alaiya Grace may be walking!

The 1-year-old underwent extensive brain surgery just a few months ago, but that didn’t put a stop to the little trouper being on the move. Skyy, who stars on VH1 series “Love and Hip Hop: New York,” took to Instagram on Sunday evening and posted a photo of herself and her daughter seemingly headed to the pool in their swimsuits.

Skyy held her daughter’s arms, kissing her on the cheek, as the little girl stood on her tippy-toes. She captioned the photo of her and her daughter “Lil mama ❤️.”

Fans pointed out baby Alaiya standing on tippy-toes and assumed she was walking.

“Awww she’s getting stronger and stronger little cutie👍☝️❤️👶 look at her she’s walking!”

“The tippy toes 😩 I can’t 😍 i can’t believe she’s about to walk.”

“Glad she’s healthy and thriving! Look at her standing on her own!”

“She’s a doll baby!!! ❤️ She was just in the NICU and now she’s standing and walking!”

“Awww she’s walking now 😍 God is good!”

Skyy’s 1-year-old celebrated her first birthday on Jan. 4, but underwent a brain surgery two weeks later to repair an implanted ventriculoperitoneal shunt in her head. She suffers from hydrocephalus, which is an abnormal accumulation of cerebrospinal fluid within cavities in the brain and causes bleeding. Therefore, the shunt that was replaced relieves pressure on the brain by draining the fluid and blood accumulation.

The “LHHNY” star’s daughter was born three months premature on Jan. 4, 2018. It was reported that Fetty Wap, whom is Skyy’s daughter’s father, was by the child’s side amid the surgery ordeal.

A week later after the little one’s surgery, Skyy said her daughter was back laughing and being her normal self. She wrote on her page, ““Thank God Lay Lay is back active and doing better.”
