“Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta” star Rasheeda Frost apparently committed a “fashion no” over the weekend.
The television personality threw fans for a loop after wearing an ensemble with shoulder pads. She took to her Instagram on Saturday and posted a photo of herself and her husband Kirk Frost seemingly celebrating her recent 37th birthday at an evening party.
“Last night w/ @frost117 😘,” her caption read.
In the image, Kirk was seen sporting all-white attire, while the “Boss Chick” rocked an all-pink fringed pantsuit. Her shoulder pad-filled blazer, however, captured fans’ attention for the worse.
“I like the suit but I’m not feeling the shoulder pads 🙅🏿.”
“Shoulder pads coming back? 😳.”
“Take the shoulder pads out of your suit jackets.”
“What’s with her shoulders they look manly af.”
The “LHHATL” reality star seems quite adamant about her love for fashion and owns two Pressed clothing boutiques, one in Atlanta and the other in Houston. Frost put her rap career on the back burner in 2016 and ended up venturing into the fashion industry.
Frost told Footwear News in 2017 that her interest in fashion actually stemmed from her days as a musician.
“I’ve always loved clothes — especially starting out originally in hip-hop,” she proclaimed. “I think it all just came together — the fashion, the lifestyle and the music.”
Since her days as Georgia’s favorite “Peach” rapper, the now-mother of two said her fashion sense has evolved tremendously.
“I can splurge a little more on certain things,” she said. “But I think as I’m getting older, I’m just more comfortable with who I am and I know the things that I like, and I never try to reach. I never try to let clothes wear me. I always try to do my own thing.”
Despite folks not agreeing with some of her eccentric fashion choices, a slew of others tend to go gaga over her unique style.
“I’m telling you who is flyer that Rasheeda? No damn body!! Stay fly!! 😘 NO HOMO.”
“Do She know if you put anything on your Flawless with it❤️❤️🔥 your Gorgeous 😘.”
“Rasheeda know she be dressin I luv her style.”
