Fans Fall Blue to Ashanti’s Dashing Looks: ‘One of The Finest Sistas Alive!!!’

After taking a break from Instagram for a few days, R&B singer Ashanti came back slaying harder than ever.

The “Rock Wit U” artist floored social media this week with a few of her graceful fashion and makeup looks. Similar to her stream of Trinidad beach photos, she posted several photos of herself posing on the beach in Phuket, Thailand. She and reggae artist Willie XO recently shot a music video there for their new single “Early In the Morning.”

While burying her feet in the sand, she struck a few fierce poses in a flowy blue maxi-skirt and a multi-colored beaded top. She wore her hair in tight curls and opted for a bronze makeup guise, including a thick blue eyeliner matching her ensemble.

The Grammy Award-winning singer is known for her exquisite fashion sense and continues to make her mark in the fashion world. Last December, she was given an opportunity to create a clothing line with New York-based designer Isabel Deng, the owner of fashion label Miss Circle.

“This is a very visual industry, so I feel like the more things that you’re a part of and the more that you’re able to show your brand and your style and who you are in different fashions, the better off you are,” she told Page Six, adding that her motto has always been to “stay classy and sassy and sexy, not trashy.”

The Miss Circle x Ashanti collection features 21 pieces ranging from $19 for a belt to items for $199. The collection dropped in December and is available now online.
