Lately, Erica Mena‘s appearance has been the topic of conversation on social media.
Earlier this week, the “Love and Hip Hop” star was accused of botching her lips and altering her skin complexion. Now folks are claiming she acquired plastic surgery, comparing her looks and backside to those of her curvaceous former employer Kim Kardashian’s.
Mena took to Instagram on Tuesday and uploaded a few photos of herself standing outside of her Atlanta home in athleisure wear. She sported a pink long-sleeve crop-top with yoga pants and matching-color sneakers. She also wore oversized pink sunglasses and a silver custom wig unit while posing for a side-angle picture that showed off her derriere.
“💕 Never been afraid to be the one that loves the most,” she added in her caption.
Fans mistook Mena for Kim Kardashian at first glance.
“I thought this was Kim K at first 😩 look at the booty.”
“She look like Nikki and Kim K at first glance she rocking a wig like the way Kim wears her hair.”
While the “LHH” celeb’s identity was up for debate, there was also a discussion about her curves.
“All these damn celebrities starting to look alike with the surgery.. I thought this was Kim K 🙄.”
“U definintely got work u use to have no a– at all. That s–t look like a Droopu diaper.”
“Them butts don’t match them legs boo all that damn surgery.”
The comments continued a recent trend of Mena receiving backlash over her appearance. In a recent photo she was accused of black-fishing after showing off her apparent darker complexion. However, a wave of fans jumped to her defense against critics.
“It’s only the makeup people calm tf down! Plus Puerto Ricans come in all shades 🙄 including Afro Latinos.”
“People are so damn pressed in these comments how she trying to look Black? Latinas are Black too smh.”
There’s also been a wave of breakup rumors surrounding her and her fiancé Safaree Samuels. She addressed those allegations on Twitter, saying, “As fans I hope y’all start considering that public figures have a life that isn’t for the public. Especially those who are building a solid future together.”
