“Black Ink Crew: Chicago” actress Charmaine Walker and longtime boyfriend Neek Bey are slated to walk down the aisle any day now.
That’s right! The seemingly outspoken, formerly twerking “Black Ink” star is turning in her single card to become a wife. Walker first introduced viewers to Bey a few seasons ago, and the two appeared to be head over heels in love with each other.
The couple had been dating for nearly three years when the Haitian native and tech entrepreneur decided to pop the big question to Walker, but they have known each for 10 years since meeting at Howard University.
Last month he invited their closest relatives to Myrtle Beach Safari, a wildlife reservation, for his birthday, got down on one knee and confessed his love for the reality star.
“Charmaine J. Walker, you’ve been the love of my life,” Bey says in the recently released video obtained by the gossip site Shaderoom. “And throughout our relationship, I’ve learned about commitment … being a best friend with you. I’ll love you the rest of my life, and I want to make it official.”
Of course, the VH1 star accepted his proposal, seemingly fighting back tears. According to the Shaderoom, the pair could be saying their nuptials as early as next fall, or even possibly sooner.
Their engagement comes almost a month ahead of the “Black Ink Crew: Chicago” premiere, which is scheduled to air on VH1 Tuesday, June 4.
Walker recently uploaded a photo of herself in Montego Bay, Jamaica, wearing her engagement ring, writing, “Life is beautiful 💚.”
She was flooded with congratulations on her engagement and Bey’s beautiful proposal.

Others, however, thought Walker and Bey were already engaged.
“Aw! So they’re engaged again? Didn’t she ask him already or that don’t count?🤔”
“Thought she was engaged already.”
“I thought yall been engaged.”
Fans may be referring to season three of “Black Ink Crew: Chicago” when a drunken Walker proposed to her boyfriend at Phor and Nikki’s housewarming lingerie party.
This time Bey returned the favor.
