Phaedra Parks told a follower that she and Nene Leakes hung out at the Kentucky Derby over the weekend, but there had not been any photographic evidence to back it up. So the former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star gave fans what they wanted by providing an image of the onetime co-stars.
At least, that’s what she thought they wanted.
A commenter left a question under Parks’ Derby pic she posted to her Instagram page Saturday. They wondered if she saw Leakes, who was one of several “RHOA” stars who caught the race.
“Do you see nene?” they asked.
“Yes we hung out yesterday and last night 🙌🏾” Parks replied.
Noticing that some were interested in seeing her and her ex-cast member together, Parks shared a photo of her with Leakes from the weekend as they smiled side by side.
“I heard you was looking for us, HERE WE GO (in my @mindofmystikal_ voice) @trifectagala @kentuckyderby #trifecta #trifecta2019 💥” Parks captioned the image.
However, the single mom was not likely anticipating the response she got from fans who glimpsed her post.

Rumors have been swirling that Parks could return to “RHOA” next season, with Leakes stating in various interviews as of late that she’d want execs to hand Parks back her peach.
Last month, Leakes also tweeted that if her foe Kenya Moore was going to come back to the show, Parks should return as well.
It capped off a months-long round of chatter from the O.G. star, who said she’d welcome the ex-peach holder back on the reality show.
When asked about her thoughts on getting support from Leakes in February, Parks remarked it was a no-brainer for anyone to want her as an “RHOA” cast member again.
“Well, you know, what’s not to want about me?” she said to Entertainment Tonight. “It’s nice to be wanted, but you know, I love my peace. It will always be a great part of my life, and I will never say never, but I’m in a happy space.”
Parks was given the boot after season 9 when she spread a potentially reputation-damaging rumor about Kandi Burruss wanting to drug and rape Porsha Williams.
