If you were ever curious about what an actor goes through to train for an action film, Halle Berry recently gave a behind-the-scenes peek.
Berry stars in the upcoming movie “John Wick: Chapter 3 — Parabellum” with Keanu Reeves, and she posted a clip of how she physically prepared for it. People definitely took to the video as well, and they communicated just how inspired they were.
Some shots show Berry learning how to properly duck on film, and in others you see her flip over a trainer with ease.
She also trains with a fake pistol to learn how to fight and shoot simultaneously. The actress also shows how fast she’s able to load a clip to a handgun.
“This is how hard you have to work in order to be in John Wick’s world,” said a seemingly tired Berry while she breathed heavily.
Her fans let her know exactly what they thought of the clip when it was over.
“From one 52 year old to another, you are awesome!!! Please don’t ever change!” someone wrote.
‘This is amazing, you are amazing,” someone else commented.
“@halleberry not that it means much but watchn you makes me proud and motivated your so very amazing 😯” a third person let her know.
Berry not only shared the training video, she’s been walking fans through some of what she’s endured for the film.
For example, the Cleveland native revealed that she broke three ribs while preparing for it and worked out for hours at a time to learn certain stunts.
She also said the film has gotten her in the best shape of her life, and in the clip she admitted it’s the hardest she’s ever been worked.
“This is probably the hardest thing that I’ve ever done physically in my whole life but I’m here for it,” she stated.
“John Wick: Chapter 3 — Parabellum” opens May 17.
