As Mother’s Day approaches, Tami Roman and her older daughter have continued to promote the upcoming VH1 special “Dear Mama.” But the mysterious absence of Roman’s younger child from the efforts is raising questions among fans.
On Monday, Roman shared a video in promotion of the upcoming show to her Instagram page. It features the “Basketball Wives” star and her 24-year-old daughter Lyric Anderson taking in the sights and rides at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida.
“Thank you @vh1 for this super fun experience at @universalorlando with my oldest mini @lyricchanel We hadn’t done that in years!!! I’m so blessed to be a mother ❤️,” Roman captioned the post.
Several fans reacted positively to the clip, which is part of the upcoming celebration of mothers airing on the Viacom-owned network next week.
“I’m Here For This 😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾I Love It.”
“So nice to see this healthy happy relationship with your daughter 💕💕🔥🌸🌸🤸🤸@tamiroman Awesome 👍”
“Glad you both enjoyed my city! Hope they showed you that Florida love. ✊🏾 and I hope you didn’t have to check a b*%ch @🤣 @tamiroman.”
Then, fans started to wonder about Jazz Anderson, Roman’s 22-year-old rapper daughter.
“Wea jazzy 👀👀”
“But where is jazz.”
“You always with this daughter where is the rapper daughter 🤷🏾♀️”
The questions led to a simple response from Roman, who said Jazz was “making rap songs 😂😂.”
While fans were apparently concerned that Jazz was being left out, she didn’t seem to be bothered. She commented of the adventure her older sister and mother had, “LOL this looks like it was fun.”
“@jazzanderson you would have lost your mind! That roller coaster is bananas 😂😂” Roman replied.
Despite how it may appear, Roman has spent quality time with Jazz, too. Last month, Roman uploaded a photo posing alongside Jazz to her Instagram account complete with the caption, “When that apple don’t fall too far from the tree.”
The caption remarked on not only their similar looks, but talents, too. Before Roman got into reality TV and acting more than two decades ago, she was a rapper in a girl group that didn’t quite get off the ground. This year, however, Roman began dipping her toes back into the rap game, thanks to her alter ego, Tatiana Trill.
Trill debuted on Instagram in time for the new year, and Roman even gave fans a glimpse of her efforts. In April, Roman posted a clip of her miming the words to a beat-heavy rap that many of her followers raved about.
“Awwww snap!! Let me get my 1, 2 Step ready for the music video 💃💃📞 me 🎶🎤📽🎬 #nopressure 🔥🔥🔥”
“Hook 🔥🔥”
