It seems the beef between “Love and Hip Hip: Atlanta” alumna Erica Mena and Nicki Minaj‘s stans hasn’t quite blown over yet.
Last week, Mena came under fire after claiming during an interview that she was never a fan of Minaj’s music. She added more fuel to the fire when she posted a photo of rapper Remy Ma, who’s an apparent rival of the “Chun-Li” artist, holding a gun. Things had simmered down for the time being until the model reignited the flames.
The 31-year-old took to Instagram on Wednesday and posted a photo of Ma on her feed. She apparently was showing support to the “Conceited” artist after she reportedly turned herself over to authorities for allegedly assualting “Love and Hip Hop: New York” star Brittney Taylor.
Mena captioned the image of Ma with a crown and rose emoji. The Barbz, who are die-hard fans of Minaj, saw the photo and attacked Mena in her comments.
“U and this b–ch a corn 🌽 like 🍿 🙄 when the last time her ass was a damn Queen! How about a prisoner! Remy is a bum just like you! Trash supporting trash.”
“Girl stop ass kissing dnt make me not like u anymore 😡 you b–tches together couldn’t top any Nicki songs with your wack asses!”
“You be dick riding Remy that man! And it’s only be when it’s drama COINCIDENTLY! Girl sit down how u mad bc u dating NICKIS EX . Pathetic… 🤦♀️.”
One person called Mena a “groupie” to which she responded, “…… of mine 😜.”
During an interview with Hot 97 with radio host Nessa Diab which was released on April 25, Mena claimed she never listened to any of Minaj’s music. The “Superbass” rap diva is the ex-girlfriend of Safaree Samuels, who’s now Mena’s fiancé.
“Honestly, I grew up on Lil Kim so heavy that when [Nicki Minaj] came out, I was, like, ‘ugh she’s biting my girl.’ It just was what it was,” she said. “She’s great at what she does, but me personally. … If it’s in the club and you’re nice. But I would never … I don’t know the words.”
Of course, social media found receipts to prove otherwise, confirming that the former “LHHATL” star seemingly was a “Nicki fan.”
As far as Remy Ma goes, the rapper appears to be an innocent bystander caught in crossfire of what fans are calling Mena’s pettiness.
Minaj, on the other hand, has yet to address the model’s shade thrown her way.
