While fans of Tamar Braxton continue to ask her if she’s joining “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” next season, it looks as if Tami Roman could be gearing up to earn a peach … at least in the form of a parody.
The actress uploaded a parody of the intro for the long-running Bravo reality series to her Bonnet Chronicles Instagram account Sunday, April 21.
Roman, as Petty Betty, twerked in front of a silhouette of the Atlanta skyline and dropped her tagline: “Sometimes I smile, sometimes I don’t. Me give a f–k? I bet you I won’t.”
“I’m thinking we coming to lunch and these b—hes arguing over who’s friends with who!” Betty exclaims before imploring Leakes to “never let a b—h see you crying.”
Betty’s confessional gets interrupted by a phone call, and she tells the person on the other end, “I’m mic’d, I’m mic’d.” The moment takes aim at the infamous recording of Kandi Burruss telling Bailey she had on a hot mic when Bailey called to “make sure we was on the same page setting up how Kenya got there.”
“No, b—h. You know I’m supposed to act like I don’t know that that’s going on,” Betty continues, mocking what Bailey is alleged to have whispered to boyfriend Mike Hill when Moore arrived at her event. Leakes took issue with Moore’s arrival because she felt Bailey purposely did not tell her she was coming.
The “Basketball Wives” star littered the video with hashtags in the caption, including #ISupportYouBoo, #JustJokes, and #Homage.
Those who watched the parody were left cracking up.
“@estarrhenderson now this is FUNNY 🤣🤣🤣”
“@officialbonnetchronicles can we get a longer version please. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣”
“Her tag line took me out @quin_on_a_cone_ same AF.”
“😂😂😂 I’m late, but that was funny😂😂”
“Tammy is a whole damn fool!!! she is funny as hell, she need a peach, I’d watch her😂”
“When she took the wig off I died😂😂😂 i❤️her lol😂😂”
While there hasn’t been any credible speculation about Roman joining the cast, rumors have been swirling that Braxton may be the next star to nab a peach. The speculation emerged when the singer gave a bit of a cryptic answer to Andy Cohen’s question about her joining while she was on “Watch What Happens Live” April 7.
“I don’t know,” she said after asking if she was “offered a peach.” “I really like shooting with my sisters.”
But when Braxton appeared on “Good Morning Atlanta” days later, she said there was no truth to the rumors.
