Cynthia Bailey Indicates Her Life Has Improved ‘Dramatically’ Since Friendship With Nene Leakes Ended

Cynthia Bailey doesn’t seem to be bothered by losing Nene Leakes’ friendship. On the contrary, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star seems to be doing better than ever without her.

That’s what Bailey indicated recently on Instagram. The model uploaded a photo set of her smiling and looking relaxed, with a caption speaking to keeping herself surrounded by positivity.

“Funny how the quality of your life improves dramatically when you surround yourself with good, intelligent, kindhearted, positive, and loving people that genuinely just want you to be happy❤️” Bailey captioned the selfies snapped as she dined at ABC Kitchen in New York City.

She added the hashtags, #loveandlight #positivevibes #happy #CHill #52cynt and #1life2live” to further drive home her point.

Bailey’s post follows an appearance on “Strahan and Sara” April 1, where she disclosed that her friendship with Leakes needed to end for now.

“Sometimes friendships need a break,” the model said. “And I feel like looking back on everything and knowing the kind of person that I am and the friend that I’ve been to her, this friendship just isn’t healthy for me at this point.”

Leakes took issue with Bailey doing “sneaky” and “underhanded” things, including not giving her a heads-up that Kenya Moore would be coming to her launch party for her Seagram’s Escapes peach bellini.

After the season 11 reunion taping in March, Leakes fell out further with Bailey.

“We are co-workers from this day forward,” Leakes said on Instagram Live a day after the taping. “I don’t have any reason to not speak to her, I’m happy to speak to her. But anything else further than that, no.”

Bailey’s carefree message on Thursday left fans applauding her for doing what’s best for herself.

“I have always wanted that for you and it’s beautiful to witness your transformation from the first day we met 🖤”

“I’ve become a big fan of yours on Atlanta I’m glad you’ve found your voice! Stay lovely and classy! @cynthiabailey10.”

“Steve did good you seem so happy. Don’t let Nene tell u who you can be friends with.love you.”

The post also garnered support from Moore and Porsha Williams, the latter of whom has had her own nasty falling-out with Leakes, whom she formerly considered a “big sis.”

“Sooo true,” new mom Williams said while Moore commented “#facts.”

Former “RHOA” star Shereé Whitfield also applauded the message, although it’s not clear if she has any problems with Leakes. She did, however, post a shady Instagram photo of her sipping tea with an eye emoji caption while Williams and Leakes’ angry text exchange made headlines.

“THIS…..” Whitfield said simply in the caption.
