Hey Felicia: Tami Roman’s Newest Career Move Is Taking Her to Church

Returning to “Basketball Wives” hasn’t slowed down Tami Roman from booking other gigs.

Fans of the star were delighted by the news.

“I’m ready!!! That’s my show! 💕💕”

“Yassssssssss!!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥💜💜💜”

“@tamiroman GO GO GOOOOOOO TAMI GO. WE LOVE YA IN C TOWN.”

“🙏🏾 💪🏾♥️Congratulations sis!!”

“Congratulations. I love that show. You did a great job on The Family Business as well.”

This will be the newest acting gig for Roman, who recently wrapped the first season of BET’s “Carl Weber’s The Family Business.” In January she appeared in the network’s TV movie “Fall Girls” as well.

But the star has been acting since she appeared on the second season of MTV’s “The Real World.” She’s had an acting stint on “Married… with Children” and throughout the early 2000s, she’s been seen on “The Parkers,” “The Steve Harvey Show,” and “Half & Half.”

While fans are eager to see what Roman contributes to “Saints and Sinners,” the Bounce TV series that focuses on a corrupt Southern church, many have been excited about her coming back to the reality TV series that made her famous to a new generation.

After months of speculation, Roman finally confirmed at the 50th Annual NAACP Image Awards red carpet Saturday that she’ll be back on “Basketball Wives” when it comes back on VH1 in June.

“Sometimes contracts hold you to certain situations, and I actually love filming ‘Basketball Wives,’” she explains. “I just had to make sure that it was in an environment that I would be comfortable in. They kinda promised me that, and so, contractually, I’m back.”
