It seems “Love and Hip Hop: Miami” star Amara La Negra has a new beau in her life.
The Afro-Dominican singer sent social media overboard on Monday after she posted a chain of photos of her and a mystery man booed up together, stating she was no longer single. She took to Instagram with one image of her alleged new boo kissing her hand as they sat together in a series of photos from the restaurant El Conuco in the Dominican Republic.

In another image, the pair are holding hands as La Negra looks at her apparent beau with all smiles. She wrote in her Instagram caption, “There is Something about a Gentleman That gets me Weak!” Then jokingly told fans, “( Don’t get Mad! I was Single Forever! Y’all had y’all chance to slide up in my DMs lol you late!) 🤣.”

However, fans were feeling some type of way to see their fave with a new man they knew nothing about.
“Harpo who’s this man?” one fan asked La Negra. “When did this happen? I been in yo DMs but you dnt date ‘regular’ dudes 👀❤️ He Ain’t ME!”

Other fans showered the star for seemingly finding love.

Folks eventually figured out who La Negra’s apparent boo was. His name is Emjay and he’s a R&B and bachata recording artist. He’s also the brother of Shay “Buckeey” Johnson, who also stars on “LHHMIA” and is La Negra’s longtime friend.
It hasn’t been confirmed yet whether La Negra and Emjay’s alleged relationship was an April Fools’ Day prank, but the pair looked extremely cozy together in the photos she posted.
La Negra was at the center of controversy during season 2 of “LHHMIA” after several of her cast mates accused her of either trying to hit on their boyfriends or slide into their men’s direct messages. However, the “Unstoppable” artist appears to basking in love with her apparent new boo.
