Less than a week after escaping the womb, Porsha Williams‘ daughter is already holding her own bottle and fans couldn’t be more impressed.
“I’m a big girl!” fiancé Dennis McKinley captioned an Instagram photo of their daughter, Pilar Jhena, tilting the baby bottle toward her face. “Daddy’s teaching me how to hold [a] bottle! #6DaysOld.”
Fans gushed over the photo of the adorable little newborn and commended Williams and McKinley on their parenting skills.
“Hey baby Pilar, you are holding your bottle already and showing us that you are a strong black queen already,” one fan commented.
“She’s getting out the way for another one,” another one joked.
“She will be telling her friends I don’t need nobody, I been independent from day 1,” wrote another.
Some fans though it was too early for Baby to be holding her own bottle, however, and accused the first-time parents of trying to rush the process.
“Folks stay wanting their baby to hold a bottle. Give her a few months chile!😩😂,” one critic opined.
“Too soon for to be holding a bottle,” another agreed. “Growing her up to fast, enjoy the baby.”
Someone else added: “I hate parents that try to rush their kids to get big.”
Williams’ and McKinley welcomed their daughter into the world on March 22 after what fans said seemed like a lengthy pregnancy. Little PJ’s birth comes almost six years after Williams suffered a miscarriage during her previous relationship with ex-husband Kordell Stewart. A three-part special set to air on Bravo next month will chronicle the new couple’s journey to parenthood.
Over the weekend, many defended Williams and McKinley from critics who tried to come for their parenting skills.
“So what we aren’t gonna do shame Porsha for not breastfeeding!” one fan wrote. “It could still be her milk in bottle. Maybe the baby can’t latch properly! Y’all are so fucking ignorant, clueless and toxic.”
“Ignorance stinks,” wrote another. “You can know the people who don’t take time out to read or do research, but love to bash others.”
