‘When 2 Queens Link Up’: Ciara’s Photo Op with Michelle Obama Has Her Followers Singing Their Praises

Fans are bursting with joy over a new photo Ciara shared on her Instagram page recently with who many refer to as the “forever first lady” Michelle Obama.

The singer appeared on stage as part of Michelle Obama‘s book tour promoting her memoir “Becoming,” which was released in November 2018. Ciara did not perform, but she was one of the speakers at the former first lady’s stop in Tacoma, Washington, at the Tacoma Dome Sunday, March 24.

Ciara’s inclusion led to her and her Seattle Seahawks quarterback spouse Russell Wilson getting a photo op with Obama.

“#WhyNotYou Be everything you dream of! The power of believing is real! Let’s all go get it today! @MichelleObama @DangeRussWilson 💃🏽” Ciara captioned the photo.

Fans couldn’t help but applaud the moment and delighted in seeing the famous women come together.

“Next level, level up @ciara.”

“Two queens! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️✊🏼”

“No caption needed❤️”

“When 2 queens link up 😭💕”

The singer herself was eager to hit the stage and be part of the event. She said as much in a clip ahead of her appearance and shared the “becomings” she’s had in life that she’s thankful for.

“I am so excited because tonight, I am joining the first lady Michelle Obama on her ‘Becoming’ book tour to share my becomings,” the performer shared in a video message on Instagram. “I am becoming the woman that I’ve dreamed of being since I was a little girl. I’ve become the mother my kids can look up to and know that no dream is too big if you believe in yourself. All it takes is one person to believe, and that person is you. And I’m becoming stronger each day by knowing that all the scars I get from the obstacles I face in life are truly my beauty marks.”
