Gucci Mane‘s love for his wife Keyshia Ka’Oir doesn’t go unnoticed.
The couple have been together for almost ten years and somehow still manage to show their gratitude toward each other. The “Guwop” rapper took to his Instagram page on Sunday to show himself and his wife posing for a picture together, apparently in their Miami mansion. In the picture, Ka’Oir wrapped her arm around her husband’s leg as he stood by her side.
“My wife @keyshiakaoir changed my life man,” Gucci captioned the image of himself and his wife on social media.
The “Met Gala” artist’s heartfelt words for Ka’Oir sent fans gushing over their love.
“A good, loyal woman always will change you 😍🙌🏾,” one fan wrote. “She’s your other rib.”
“S/o @keyshiakaoir for giving gucci her support and helping him become a better wop for me to be inspired by! Ain’t no King 👑 without a Queen 👑,” another added.
“I love the way you love each other 😍 Mr. & Mrs. Davis ❤️,” someone else commented. “He who finds a wife finds a good thing.”
Gucci and Ka’Oir’s eight year relationship hasn’t always been peaches and cream. The couple ostensibly stood the test of time after the rapper served a two-year prison sentence in 2014 after being convicted of unlawful possession of a firearm.
The 34-year-old model stood by her then-boyfriend’s side although fans urged her to leave him.
“I did have the question thrown at me many times: ‘Why are you with him?’ — both before and when he was locked up,” she told New York Post in Oct. 2017 . “I would tell him about it. It did not bother me because they do not know the real Gucci, so I did not care.”
The pair stayed close while Gucci was locked behind bars, seemingly speaking everyday on the phone and following a daily routine together.
“We had a schedule where we worked out from 8:00 to 10:00. Then we’d shower, eat and get on the phone,” she noted. “It did get lonely when it was my birthday, Christmas and Valentine’s. Those were my worst days. I would get down and tell him. He would feel bad.”
After the Atlanta native was released from the slammer in 2016, he followed up with a proposal to Ka’Oir at an Atlanta Hawks game on Nov. 22. The two tied the knot the following year in October 2017.
Although many fans and the “Guwop” rapper himself credited Ka’Oir for changing her husband’s life for the better, the mother of three said it was him who wanted to change and mature.
“I have [been given] credit for Gucci’s style and swag now. But a man is a man no matter how good of a woman you are,” she told the Post. “You cannot make him do nothing he don’t want to do. He was willing to change.”
