K. Michelle Fans Overjoyed to Hear She’s Still on Track to Having a Baby Through Surrogacy: ‘My God Showed Out’

The New Year has ostensibly been good to R&B artist K. Michelle and she couldn’t be happier to share news of her surrogacy process.

In December, the award-winning singer announced that her surrogate was approved to have her twins. Fast-forward to March, her and her companion Kastan Sims are getting things in order for the surrogate twins’ arrival.

The 35-year-old mother took to Instagram on March 6 with a long post explaining that her deepest life desires are coming into fruition. She highlighted her long-time yearning to do country music, her opportunity to get rid of the pain she suffers from due to her illegal butt injections, and her journey to becoming a new mother.

“My God, showed out in one week,” K. Michelle wrote in her Instagram post. ” There have been THREE things that I have desired so deeply. Country Music, [get rid of] the severe pain after my surgeries. Then last but not least God couldn’t have sent me a better surrogate. We have been preparing for these TWO little ones for two years now.”

She continued, “I’ve been patient and determined to do it the right way this time. I’ve been saving every single dime so that When they come I won’t have to be on the road I can enjoy them and not miss a beat. … When you want something bad enough no bump in the road can deter you from your calling. ”

Fans were ecstatic on the singer’s surrogacy update and congratulated her on her motherhood process.

“Praise and thank God for showing up and showing out,” one Instagram user wrote. “You will make a great mother 👏❤️ Congrats!”

“I’m soooo happy for you K….you are sooo real…You deserve all your blessings and more!!!” another user added. ” GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME💕 and congrats on the babies!”

“I’m so happy for everything god has in store for you!! I know you are going to be a great mother 😍😘🌻,” a fan commented.

In September 2017, the “Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood” star revealed to fans that she’d been struggling with fertility issues following her lupus diagnosis. The doctor told K. Michelle that she wouldn’t be able to carry her twins full-term. However, after going through a long process of finding a surrogate, she finally found the perfect person to carry her children.
