Earlier this week, it was reported that Mena and her fiancé were supposedly booted from the VH1 show, although it was not confirmed. The 31-year-old model has, however, finally broke her silence on the rumors and claimed it was complete malarkey.
Mena took to her Instagram Story on March 7 and posted a screenshot of a report stating her and Samuels were fired from all “LHH” shows.
“The Lies,” the reality star wrote, adding a laughing face emoji.
Samuels on the other hand has yet to respond to the speculation and seems unbothered by the allegations as he continues to promote their couples’ YouTube channel.
Mena last appeared on season 7 of “Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta” and told fans in December 2018 that she would be taking a break from reappearing on the reality show due to her being tired of making other people famous.
“I refused to put anyone on EVER again,” Mena said during an Instagram live video while mentioning that she was “starring in a movie on Showtime.”
However, MTO News, citing unidentified sources, claimed the reason folks wouldn’t be viewing Mena or her fiancé on the “LHH” series was because they were both given pink slips.
“We made [Erica] famous and she badmouths us every time she opens her mouth,” the purported insider reportedly told the gossip site. “She got herself fired.”
MTO also claimed that Samuels was fired after allegedly refusing to appear on the “Love and Hip Hop: New York” season 9 reunion show.
“The one sure way to get fired permanently is to disrespect the show by not showing up to [a shoot],” the anonymous source said. “You will never EVER see him on ‘Love & Hip Hop’ again. His career [as a reality star] is over.”
Regardless of whether the couple returns to “LHH,” fans said they were going to support them.
“After seeing LHH you handled the hate so well👏🏽👏🏽, idek why they all feel entitled to YOURRR BIZZZZ 😹😹. I’m happy for you! 🤩.”
“I’m so happy for you guys, everybody deserves happiness!! Fukk anyone who doesn’t like it including lhh.”
