50 Cent Announces Directorial Debut, Gives Update on Sixth Season of ‘Power’

50 Cent has become a Renaissance man by being a multi-platinum rapper, an actor, a businessman, and now a director.

In fact, the G-Unit boss announced his directorial debut in a March 7 Instagram post, and he gave an update on the show “Power” as well.

Power season 6 on the way, episode 3 is my directorial debut you gotta see this,” he wrote next to a photo of himself leaning on a yellow car and sporting a shiny silver coat with a Yankee hat. “#lecheminduroi #bransoncognac.”

Many of his fans applauded him afterwards.

“Congratulations on your directorial debut Fif!” one of them wrote. “Nothing but greatness ahead. To the future.”

“I thought you have directed before!” wrote someone else. “Well you keep proving that there’s nothing you can’t do! Much blessings to you!”

Besides directing a “Power” episode and also announcing a couple of spinoffs, including a series on the infamous drug crew BMF, 50 is also bringing another drama to the small screen. It’s called “Sex Money Murder,” based on the life of Peter “Pistol Pete” Rollack, the leader of New York’s Sex Money Murder gang.

“Oscar award winning producer @nicolerocklin partners with ya Boy 50 to create the hit Tv show Sex Money Murder ( The Pistol Pete story) #lecheminduroi#bransoncognac# I get the 💰 bag,” he wrote Sunday (March 3).

But 50 didn’t reveal when the new drama will begin, and a premiere date still hasn’t been announced for the sixth season of “Power” either.
