Bet you haven’t had a date night like Ciara just had with husband Russell Wilson.
The famous couple jetted off to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil this week for a vacation while the Seattle Seahawks quarterback has some free time during the NFL combine week. And during their trip, the spouses soaked in the sights on a romantic helicopter ride in the South American city.
Before then, Wilson let fans in Brazil know he and his wife were preparing to fly out Tuesday and were looking for a great time.
“We are headed out to y’all’s way. We’re headed to Rio soon in a couple of days on Tuesday, the 27th all the way through the 4th [of March], I believe, and having some fun,” Wilson explained on his Instagram account Monday. “We want to taste y’all’s culture.”
“I can’t wait to see you guys in some 3 jerseys in Brazil and having fun. Can’t wait to taste the food, though, and have some fun. We’ll see you guys,” he added after his wife interjected, “We want to dance!”
The couple got their fun Thursday when they took in some aerial views of the famous Christ the Redeemer statue built by Albert Caquot, Gheorghe Leonida, Heitor da Silva Costa and Paul Landowski in 1922.

Fans oohed and ahhed over the stunning video, which was soundtracked to “Abba” by Jonathan David and Melissa Helser.

Before the couple took flight, they managed to squeeze in a few moments of PDA, with Ciara holding on to one of Wilson’s biceps as they made their way toward the helicopter, paparazzi pics show. Before boarding, Ciara also managed to get a kiss from her hubby, which is something she struggled to do weeks earlier thanks to their daughter Sienna Princess’ adorable interruptions.
Going on fancy date nights are nothing new for Ciara and Wilson, though. In November, the couple utilized the QB’s helicopter license to take off and see their current hometown of Seattle by night.
